Follow the footsteps of Bahadur Yaar Jung

A meeting was held to celebrate 70th death anniversary of Nawab Bahadur Yaar Jung, at community hall in Chanchalguda under the chairmanship of Mr. Adil Mohammed Khan, President of Anjuman-e-Mehdaviya. The function started with the recitation of the Quranic verses by Mr. Syed Mujtaba Hannan Mujtahedi. Mr. Mohammed Asif Ali Khan, Boozayi, secretary of the reception committee welcomed the audience.

He said that in the family of Nawab Naseeb Yaavar Jung a child was born on 5th March 1905 who was named Saadi Khan alias Bahadur Khan. He became a writer, poet and an orator. His speech made the ruler shed his tears. He was honoured with the title of “Bahadur Yaar Jung” by Nawab Mir Osman Ali Khan.

Mr. Samiur Rahman told that the mission of Nawab Bahadur Yaar Jung was to create educational awareness among the Muslims.

Mr. Syed Nusrath Mehdi paid a rich tribute to Nawab Bahadur Yaar Jung Mr. Mohammed Abdul Razzak highlighted various facets of the life of Nawab Bahadur Yaar Jung. Mr. Syed Yousuf Khiyal Khundmiri paid a tribute to the leadership qualities of Nawab Bahadur Yaar Jung. Mr. Neemath Khan delivered his speech as Chief Guest. He said that Nawab Bahadur Yaar Jung gave the slogan “Be one and Be pious” but today our community has been divided into various compartments which is causing damage to the whole of Muslims.

It is obligatory for us to follow the path of Nawab Bahadur Yaar Jung and we should be united. So long as we are not united, we won’t progress.

The president of the Association Mr. Adil Mohammed Khan in his presidential speech told that Nawab Bahadur Yaar Jung’s manifesto was that he wanted to see the Muslims united. If we want to pay a tribute to Nawab Bahadur Yaar Jung we should follow his footsteps. We should adopt his principles and exhibit unity.

Mr. Syed Ali Adil paid a versified tribute to Nawab Bahadur Yaar Jung, Mr. Syed Mohammed Jeelani, Secretary of the Reception Committee welcomed the guests. A large number of audience attended the meeting and paid a tribute to Nawab Bahadur Yaar Jung.
