Forum for Cultural Up-gradation & Social Services (Focuss) and Tanzeem Irshadul Muslimeen (TIM) are jointly conducting a blood donation camp in the twin cities on January 4 from 8 am in different parts of the city on the occasion of Milad-un-Nabi.
Addressing mediapersons here on Thursday, Ahsan Bin Mohammed Alhamoomi, general secretary, Mohammed Mustafa Ali Sarwari, joint secretary said Deputy Chief MinisterMahmood Ali, A.K. Khan, IPS, Syed Omer Jaleel, IAS, will be the chief guests on the occasion.
Focuss leaders said the blood donation camps will be held at Asifya Library and Hyderabad State Central Library at Afzalgunj, Al-Madina Jamia Masjid Mehmoodguda and Secunderabad Eidgah Balamrai near Paradise crossroads.
The Focuss and TIM are undertaking a massive campaign “Donate Blood and Spread Message of Islam” since last four years and this will be the fifth Milad Blood donation camp. Every year, nearly 1,800 donors donate blood. The blood collected during the camp is supplied to Thalassemia Sickle Cell Society, Gandhi Hospital, Osmania General Hospital and Red Cross Society.
