TRS leadership today challenged TJAC Chief Prof Kodandaram to float a political party and fight with the ruling party if he has guts. Government whip and MLC Palla Rajeshwar Reddy and MP Suman expressed serious displeasure at Kodandaram and the Congress for hatching a conspiracy against the government on the jobs issue through their ‘fight for jobs” protest at Saroornagar.
Addressing a press conference at TRS Legislature Party here they accused Kodandaram and the Congress leaders of joining hands to blame the government. Kodandaram should come up with a political outfit to take on the mite of the government, they suggested. The works of the projects will not be stalled despite the conspiracies by the Congress as the government is firm to complete them, they said. The aim of job fight by the professor and supported by the opposition parties only to tarnish the image of the government, they fumed. Their ultimate aim is to malign the government image on key issues. The conspiracies will not workout as the people do not believe in the Congress or those who are creating a sort of confusion among the students.
They also found fault with the TJAC chief for politicising remarks on the alleged suicide incident at the Osmania University. The Government has filled up about 29000 jobs and will fill up a total 1.12 lakh jobs they said. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is determined to fill up the posts at any cost and the students should not lose their cool by such meaningless protests. The TJAC and the Congress are making deliberate attempts to blame the government now for the jobs and earlier on irrigation projects, farmers’ suicides, crops and others. They denied charges that family rule is on in Telangana and cited that they were all elected by the people in a democratic manner. (NSS)
