Flaws in projects will be rectified to ensure water to all: Pocharam

Agriculture Minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy today clarified in the Legislative Council that the State government would provide water for irrigation and drinking to farmers in the State.
The minister admitted that there were some technical flaws in some irrigation projects in Telangana. He said irrigation projects will be constructed on the upland areas and provide water to all through gravitation. These snags would be rectified and water for irrigation and drinking would be provided, he added. He also hoped that by rectifying the faults of some irrigation projects, the government would fulfill the aspiration of the farmers, he added. (NSS)
