New Delhi: Realty portal Housing.com on Wednesday said properties worth Rs 250 crore were booked during its online sale this Diwali.
About one lakh units with prices ranging from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 25 crore are on offer with discounts and freebies in the ongoing property expo from October 29 to November 22.
Over 60,000 customers have registered on its platform to buy homes, the SoftBank-backed portal said in a statement.
Last week, online marketplace Snapdeal had said nearly 10,000 customers have registered to purchase property on its platform during its pre-Diwali home shopping festival.
“Houses worth Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) of Rs 250 crore have already been sold. The average value of houses booked till date on the platform is Rs 80 lakh,” Housing.com said, adding that over 150 developers, covering more than 400 projects, are taking part in the expo.
Developers taking part in expo include Prestige Group, Godrej, Hiranandani, Rustomjee, Mahindra, ATS, Jaypee Greens, Kalpataru, DB Realty, Radius, Nirmal Lifestyle and Dosti Realty.
The expo has received significant traction from customers across global markets such as US, UK, UAE and Singapore. With approximately 2,500 employees in 50 cities, Housing.com provides independently verified listings of homes.
It had raised over $100 million in capital from investors, including SoftBank.
