Anuradha Bali alias Fiza, the estranged wife of former Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Chander Mohan and converted to Islam, was found dead under mysterious circumstances in her house in Panchkula on Monday morning.
According to initial reports, Fiza’s dead body found at her residence in Mohali.
As per the police, Anuradha’s body was in a decomposed state as she may have died at least 3-4 days back.
She was living alone in the house after the death of her mother earlier this year, while her father had passed away sometime back.
Her body has been sent for post-mortem even as the police has begun probe.
Fiza made the headlines with her alliance with Mohammed Chand, former Deputy Chief Minister of Haryana. A lawyer by profession, Fiza’s marriage to Mohammed Chand in 2009 and her subsequent divorce were under constant media scrutiny.
She was recently admitted to a hospital and treated for a clot in her head. Bali had announced that she will form a part and contest against Chander Mohan.
