Hyderabad, June 26: A group of five students of Bhashyam school in Santoshnagar are reported to be missing since Wednesday. On suspicion that they might have travelled either to Bhadrachalam or Visakhapatnam, police teams have been dispatched to get them back.
According to the police, the students — Harishanker, Uday Kiran and Srinivas Naidu, all aged 15 and studying in Class 10, residing at Maruti Nagar in Kanchanbagh and two Class VI students, Murali Krishna and Yogesh, both aged 11, did not return home on Wednesday night. Their parents lodged a complaint with the Santoshnagar police on Thursday. It is learnt that Rs 40,000 was also missing from Yogesh’s house and police believe that he must have taken the cash at the time of leaving the house.
Police said that the five students of Bhashyam school in Santoshnagar, were heard discussing that they wanted to travel to Bhadrachalam and Visakhapatnam. Accordingly, police teams have been sent to trace them.
