Financial problems drove one more contract employee of GHMC to suicide.
According to Kulsumpura police, Satish Kumar, 32, who had consumed poison on March 23, died at the Osmania General Hospital on Sunday. He was a resident of Jiyaguda and was working as GHMC contract employee.
In a similar case, 48-year-old S Balaiah committed suicide by hanging to the ceiling at his residence in Jairam Nagar on Saturday night. He was facing financial problems which are suspected to have driven him to suicide, according to Pet Basheerabad police.
In another case, Akula Anand Sai Reddy, 23, committed suicide by hanging to the ceiling at his residence in Lalitha Nagar Colony near Jilelguda in the early hours of Sunday. According to Meerpet police, Reddy was a student of third year B Tech and was suffering from ill-health.
In a different case, 35-year-old G Nageshwaramma, who had attempted suicide by hanging to the ceiling on March 27 at her residence in Moinabad, died at the Gandhi Hospital on Saturday night. Ill-health is suspected to have driven her to suicide, according to Moinabad police.
In a separate case, 25-year-old K Naresh committed suicide by hanging to the ceiling at his residence in Brahmananda Nagar on Saturday night. According to Neredmet police, Naresh had a love marriage with Haritha, a widow with two children, in 2014. He was reportedly under depression due to some domestic issues which consequently drove him to suicide. (INN)
