Five new services added to Delhi govt’s Jeevan project

New Delhi, March 05: Five new services were today brought under Delhi Government’s ambitious Jeevan kiosk project taking the total number of such facilities made available at the specially designed ‘one stop shops’ to 73.

Under the Jeevan project, government had set up over 300 ‘one-stop shops’ across the city to provide a host of services pertaining to different departments under one roof.

These computerised citizen service centres facilitate payment of various bills, booking of air and railway tickets, issue of different forms, applications and information brochures.

New facilities were added to the long list of the services at a function today organised to mark one year of launch of the project.

Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, Labour Minister Mangat Ram Singhal and top officials of the government were present on the occasion. .
