Five new Raithu Bazaars in greater Hyderabad

Hyderabad, October 19: Chief Minister K Rosaiah directed the officials of the Marketing and Central Warehousing Corporation to arrange required godowns to store large quantities of food grains. He said the crop would be extra ordinarily better this year and food grains would be available in record quantities in the market.

He said to cope up with the problem of scarcity of godowns short and long term plans should be formulated. He proposed to involve private sector in this regard. He said godowns can be made by involving private sector through attractive packages.

Officials told the chief minister that 11 Raithu bazaars have been set up in the state after 2006 and by the end of the current year 5 new Raithu bazaars will be set up in Greater Hyderabad.
