California, March 02: A 17-year-old father was shot by police today after he allegedly abducted his five-month-old son, who was stabbed during the ordeal in Palmdale, California, authorities said.
Christopher Earl Glass – who has no custodial rights – fled with the baby after a fight with the boy’s mother, KTLA reported.
He then sent messages to the boy’s mother threatening to harm the baby, and police were able to track him down.
When he tried to flee he was shot by police, who then discovered the baby had a stab wound.
The child was taken to a hospital and his condition was unknown. The condition of Glass was also unknown.
