New Delhi: A 34-year-old woman along with her 23-year-old friend were held captive in a farm house and gangraped by five persons in Sukait area of Kota district, police said on Monday.
Police have lodged a case of gang rape against the five accused but none of them have been arrested so far.
Sukait police station SHO Mahendra Maru said two women from Jaipur city on Saturday night registered a complaint of gang rape against Rajendra Singh Sisodiya, ex-deputy pradhan of Kherabad panchyat samiti, Rodu Singh Sisodiya, Shiv Dhakad and two others.
The victims stated in the complaint that they had got off the train from Jaipur at Ramgangmandi railway station on Friday night on way to their relative’s home in nearby Khumbkot village.
While they were looking for a taxi outside the station, Rajendra Sisodiya, who was familiar to the women, offered them lift and took them to his farm house in Sukait area and locked them in one of the rooms, he said.
The victims stated that Rajendra Sisodiya then called four others persons two of whom were identified as Shiv Dhakad and Rodu Singh Sisodiya and the five repeatedly gang raped the two women several times throughout the day on Saturday and held them captive, the SHO said.
The two women were then dropped at Ramgangmandi station by the accused on Saturday evening from where they approached police and reported the matter, SHO Maru said.
On the victims’ complaint, the accused Rajendra Singh Sisodiya, Rodu Singh Sisodiya, Shiv Dhakad and two other unidentified persons were booked under 376 (B) (gang rape), Maru said adding victims’ medical examination was also done.
Police is probing the matter, he said adding statements of the victims under section 164 are yet to be recorded.
