Five people were killed and two others injured Tuesday when a truck in which they were traveling overturned in West Bengal’s Howrah district, police said.
The accident happened in the early hours of the day when the truck laden with bricks overturned and fell into a ditch.
“Five people including the driver were killed on the spot while two others were hospitalized with serious injuries,” said a police officer.
