Jaipur, November 12: At least five persons were today injured in a clash between policemen and advocates following a minor altercation, leading to stone pelting on vehicles and public, at the Jaipur Session Court, a senior police official said.
The injured included a sub-inspector, an advocate and a lensmen, IGP (Jaipur Range) B L Soni said.
Furious lawyers, demanding action against one head constable who allegedly indulged in scuffle with advocates, also boycotted their work paralysing the court, IGP said.
Lawyers also allegedly damaged equipments of lensmen who were covering the incident, and thrashed them, he said.
Three counter FIRs were lodged by scribes, lawyers and police with the Banipark police station.
Meanwhile, the Pink City Press Club General Secretary Kishore Sharma condemned the attack on media.
