New Delhi: Five persons were injured in a clash between two neighbours in west Delhi’s Subhash Nagar area, police said today.
Yesterday, a case was registered on the basis of a complaint by Sumit Singh that he is troubled by three persons, all residents of Subhash Nagar, police said.
Today, the accused attacked the complainant party, and five persons, Karan, Rajesh, Rupam, Chair Kumar and Vijay sustained minor injuries. They were discharged from the hospital later in the day.
A video also surfaced of the incident in which the accused could be seen brandishing swords and hurling abuses.
The police have identified most of the attackers and efforts are on to nab them.
The incident took place this afternoon near Subhash Nagar’s Cambridge Foundation school.
According to residents, the attackers were allegedly creating ruckus in the area over the past one year and despite complaining to the police, no action was taken against them.
