Five injured in clash in south Delhi

New Delhi, April 05:Five persons, including two women, were injured and a number of vehicles damaged outside an NDMC community hall in Khan Market after a clash erupted between two groups, police said today.

The incident took place last night when a group of people had gathered to attend a religious function.

Two men who were attending the function entered into a scuffle with a local objecting to the presence of cars in his neighbourhood.

The victim then went to his neighbourhood and informed the neighbours about it. A large group of men and women then came to the hall and an argument
ensued.

The two groups clashed and there was stone pelting. A number of cars were damaged,” a senior police official said.

Five persons, including two women, were injured in the incident.

No arrests have been made so far.
