New Delhi: The verdicts of five important cases to be pronounced during the next two weeks might bring about major changes in the political, social and religious spheres of the people of this country.
Mr. Justice Ranjan Gogoi before his retirement on 17th November will deliver judgments in five important cases.
Babri Masjid
It is likely that the judgment to decide the ownership of Babri Masjid property might be pronounced. It will be a historic judgment. It will affect the entire country.
Sabarimala Temple
Another important judgment pertains to accord permission to women to enter Sabarimala Temple.
Authentic sources indicated that these cases are being studied with greater care and attention.
Rafale deal
It may be mentioned that after completion of arguments about the Rafale deal, SC reserved its judgment.
Rahul Gandhi‘s remark
The complaint filed by BJP leader, Meenakshi Lekhi against Mr. Rahul Gandhi who made a remark while talking to media persons that ‘Chowkidaar Chore Hai’.
The verdict in the Rafale case might affect PM Modi.
Finance Bill
It is also expected that the verdict on the Finance Bill will also be delivered. It may be noted that in the history of the Supreme Court, no CJI got so much important cases as Mr. Justice Gagoi did.
