The Mailardevpally police on Wednesday arrested five persons on the charges of murdering a businessman.
According to police, the arrested accused persons – Abdullah bin Mohammed Basubbara (32), Hussain Bin Mohammed Basubbara (26), Shaik Atif (31) and Khadeer Hussain (31), allegedly killed businessman Mohammed Khader Ali, 40, near Alinagar on November 15. Another accused, Mohammed Amer of Vattepally, is still absconding.
According to Rajendranagar ACP K Ganga Reddy, Abdullah and Hussain bore a grudge against Mohammed Khader Ali, a resident of Tolichowki, after he helped his younger brother Aleem Ali in divorcing his wife. The woman was the co-sister of Abdullah and Hussain. A case of dowry harassment was also filed against Aleem Ali early this year.
Police also recovered three knives and three motorcycles from their possession. They were before a court, which remanded them to judicial custody. (INN)
