Lucknow March 05: Five people were arrested following brickbatting between two different sects of the Muslim community in Agra yesterday in connection with offering of namaz.
Home department sources here said that members of Sunni and Deobandi sects clashed with each other over offering namaz in a mosque in Kolihai locality, resulting in minor injuries to four people.
While the sunnis wanted to give a “takreer” (religious discourse) the Deobandis were against it, leading to the clash, sources said, adding, investigations were on.
