Fitbit Alta doesn’t track heart rate

New Delhi : Fitbit Alta, an updated version of the company’s popular flex wristband is not suitable for serious athletes, although it has many other valuable features.
According to stuff.co.nz, Alta won’t have a heart-rate monitor or a colour screen and it will cost USD 229.

The wrist ban will offer all the other features of standard Fitbit wristbands. The accessory can be used for tracking exercises and sleep. The wristband offers a full OLED touchsreen that you can tap to set up your reminder, a clock and view your smartphone notifications.

Headquartered in San Francisco, California, Fitbit Inc. is an American company, founded and managed by James Park and Eric Friedman.

The company is known for its products of the same name, which are activity trackers, wireless-enabled wearable technology devices that measure data such as the number of steps walked, quality of sleep, steps climbed, and other personal metrics. The first of these was the Fitbit Tracker. (ANI)
