Mangalore, August 16:The body of the one of the three missing fishermen, who were drowned when thier boat capsized due to turbulant waves on the sea shore near Ullal on city outskirts last evening, was recovered late night.
One fisherman had managed to reach the shore safely, according to police sources here.
Four fishermen had left the old port here for fishing two days
back.
While returning to the shore, thier boat was caught in the rough sea.
The fishermen who jumped off the boat to swim and save themselves, were caught in a huge wave. However, one of them reached the shore by swimming for over two hours. The remaining three went missing.
The fishermen were identified as Jesuraj, Kalanjam, Anand and Murthy.
Meanwhile, the district adminitration had cautioned fishermen from venturing into sea due to rough waves and strong wind in Kollam i Kerala.
