Hyderabad: In MPTC by-election of Janagaon and Bichannapet in Warangal District, TRS lost the seats. It may be mentioned that after assuming power in Telangana, TRS did not face any big defeat but in the recently held MPTC elections in Janagaon and Bichannapet it lost the seats. It is believed that there are many reasons for the defeat of TRS. One of them is that people expressed their wrath against TRS since Janagaon was not elevated to the status of a district.
Dodla Siddaiah of Congress defeated TRS candidate, M. Kalinga Raju in Marigadda of Janagaon Mandal. CPI (M) candidate, Mehboob defeated T. Ellamma who was enjoying the support TDP, Congress, BJP and TRS in Narayanapuram in Mehboob Nagar District. It is understood that it is a warning of the people to TRS.
