About four lakh Telangana employees will receive their first salary in T-state on Tuesday.
Employees who played a vital role in achieving T-state by actively participating in several protest programmes, going on general strikes, particularly the 43-day-old Sakala Janata Samme and stay away from duties during the last five years, are excited to receive their salary in their own state for the first time.
According to them, their decades-long dream of working for T-government and receiving salary for the same has been realized and their happiness cannot be expressed in words.
The salary for the month of June will be credited to their bank accounts on July 1. Though, the employees will get salary for only twenty seven-and-a-half days because they have donated one-and-a-half day’s salary for Telangana CM’s relief fund.
The remaining one day’s salary of June 1 has been deducted since it was paid along with May salary in the united state on account of bifurcations of state on June 2.
