Hyderabad: MIM moved a resolution through its members for the suspension of CEO Mohammed Asadullah for alleged irregularities.
Along with Mr Tafseer Iqbal, an IPS official, other TRS members also opposed the decision, stating that the Board cannot suspend the CEO, a deputy collector rank revenue officer and that it can only recommend action. The board cannot lodge a criminal case against CEO without an inquiry, they said.
After four hours of persistence from MIM, the Board resolved to repatriate the CEO to his parent department.
