New Delhi: In line with prolific concepts and innovations, MD & CEO First Fiddle Restaurants, Priyank Sukhija now aims to endeavor Rs. 500 crore top-line growth along with a chain of new restaurants by the year 2020.
“First Fiddle plans to open 25 new restaurants by 2020 in its endeavor for Rs. 500 crore top-line. The group currently operates 25 restaurants and has recently adopted the franchising route to expansion,” said Priyank Sukhija in an email interaction to ANI.
While elaborating on the details about the company’s expansion, he said that future expansion will include tier II cities through the existing brands like Tamasha, Flying Saucer and Lord of the Drinks, while opening new properties simultaneously.
“The newest steps taken by the group is tapping established international markets like Dubai, Singapore, and London for further expansion,” he added while hinting on the International expansion plans.
On the sidelines of expansion, he said that the company plans to raise external funds to achieve its expansion targets.
“First Fiddle Restaurants is looking forward to setting the bar up by Rs. 200 crores so far. With our company already clocking in Rs. 190 crores in 2017-18 and our targets of Rs. 300 crore in 2018-19 already set, the money raised would be used for further growth and expansion,” added Priyank.
“Although people can expect Dragonfly in Delhi and Mumbai before the funding even begins. A location for Plum has also been finalized. Therefore, there is a lot on the plate and it’s only growing big,” he said while elaborating on Dragonfly, which will be opening doors first in the city of dreams, Mumbai followed by another in the National Capital.
Talking about the ecstatic response that Asia’s longest island bar Lord of the Drinks at Kamala Mills has received, he said that customers are loving the newest addition.
“The longest bar in Asia that stretches 210 feet long, so our patrons need not queue up for their drinks anymore! People are awestruck at the sheer size of this outlet and the massive bar. This is the new one-stop solution for a great party place,” he added.
Achieving a milestone in his journey, First Fiddle is now all set to collaborate with Bollywood rap artist, Badshah for two major projects in the coming 2 months.
Their tie-up will see Dragonfly, a property in JW Marriot, Sahar in Mumbai along with next stop in Delhi’s Aerocity around September this year.
“We are guarding further details for now, as we are carefully building two Dragonfly nightclubs in Delhi and Mumbai simultaneously. A partnership where First Fiddle will take care of the food and design aspects, while Badshah will bring in his expertise in entertainment,” added Sukhija.
First Fiddle, which is also gearing up to launch JLWA in New Delhi by August, and Dragonfly by September, currently eyes further expansion to extend a few properties in the Delhi-NCR. (ANI)
