The first exclusive Indian-Expo 2017 at Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Jeddah: The first Indian-Expo 2017 will be organized by MBN Luxury Lines in Association with Saudi Indian Business Network (SIBN) from 22-24 October, 2017 at Convention Center Jeddah Hilton, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Indian Business Network (SIBN) as the name implies, is a professional organization that groups together entrepreneurs, senior executives and professionals from Saudi Arabia and India.


Consul General of India Mohammed Noor Rahman Sheikh officially launched the Media Center and Website for the First Indian-Expo 2017 in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at Indian Consulate premises.

Consul General of India underlined the longstanding bonds of friendship between India and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as well as to the shared will of both nations to strengthen the existing multi-faceted cooperation.
India-Saudi Arabia partnership has improved tremendously during recent years.

The economic complementarities are helping this relationship to grow stronger.

The bilateral investment between the two countries is growing steadily.

Since mid-2000, a number of Indian firms have taken advantage of the new Saudi laws and established joint venture projects or wholly-owned subsidiaries in the Kingdom.

The economic focus of the world has gradually shifted towards India.

By 2030, India is expected to be the third largest economy in the world, with the largest consuming population that global companies would wish to attract.

India has been the best economic performer in the last few years. India is now the world’s fastest growing large economy with GDP growth rates reaching 7% and above in recent years.

The Joint Declaration on Strengthening and Enhancing Economic, Scientific and Technological Cooperation between the Republic of India and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia signed during the last year visit of Prime Minister NarenderaModi to Saudi Arabia should help to provide the necessary impulse and inspiration to the business sectors.

Dr. Mohd. Nurul Hassan Consul (Commerce) spoke about the existing synergies between the two economies and the opportunities that have emerged in recent years owing to ongoing economic reforms in both countries. He assured organizers of Indian-Expo 2017 for full cooperation and support from him in organizing the Indian Expo.

This Expo will highlight the importance of Indian and Saudi economy in line with vision of Kingdom (Vision-2030) where Saudi Arabia’s economy and trade market as one of the World’s fastest growing.

The first and largest specialized Indian Expo will offer unique opportunity to share Indian business ideas and expertise with Saudi businessmen.

General Secretary of SIBN Mir Gazanfar Ali Zaki said that the First Indian Expo is an important initiative towards bringing the businessmen of the two countries on a common platform, connecting people and businesses. SIBN will assist in building sustainable and conducive platforms between India and Saudi Arabia, whilst bridging the information gap to match the pace with modern day business. The Expo will help to Boost Manufacturing and trading opportunities for Saudi Entrepreneurs and at last he delivered vote of thanks.

Executive Secretary of SIBN AsimZeeshan Khan said that India and Saudi Arabia are developing countries and need two-sided flow of investment in infrastructure and development. He assured organizers for full cooperation and support from SIBN team.
