Firing at Realtor Mustafa Case: MIM Corporator interrogated for 7 hours

Hyderabad: Cyberabad Police questioned MIM Corporator of Shastripuram, Mohammed Misbahuddin in order to get information about missing accused Zuber who was allegedly involved in shooting at realtor Mohammed Mustafa at Kings Colony, Mailardevpally.
According to the news published in TOI, Zuber is the son of a businessman Shanawaz. IT officials had recently raided the houses of the businessman.
Police issued a notice to Misbahudddin on Saturday. He appeared before police and gave a written statement pleading ignorance about the firing incident.
It may be mentioned that on Saturday, Mustafa had received bullet injuries after Zuber allegedly opened fire at his office located at Kings Colony.
MIM leader’s presence at Virinchi Hospital led to suspicion. Due to this reason, investigating officials issued notice to Misbahuddin.
It is also reported that after getting Mustafa admitted in hospital, Zuber contacted Misbahuddin on phone. It is, therefore, suspected that Misbahuddin knew the whereabouts of Zuber.
However, Misbahuddin made it clear that he was not aware of the incident.
Meanwhile, Mustafa who is undergoing treatment said that his bullet injury was self-inflicted. He also said that he did not know any person by name Zuber which increases the suspicion of the police. It seems that Mustafa is influenced by someone.
Talking on this incident, Misbahuddin told that police had called him to ask the details of the case. He also said that as he is a Corporator, he gets many calls.
He further said that police questioned him from 6 p.m. on Saturday to 1.30 a.m. on Sunday.
Commenting on the case, DCP (Shamsabad) PV Padmaja said that investigation is in progress.
