Mr. Mohammed Mushtaq Malik, President of Muslim Shibban condemned the police firing in Kishan Bagh area. He requested the Governor to issue instructions for instituting an inquiry committee to find out the circumstances under which firing order was issued. He pointed out that many Sikhs were wondering along with their swords in the presence of Police. Police opened fire against the unarmed Muslim youths. In 2003 also, violence has erupted and two Muslims were killed.
