Bathinda(Punjab), April 22: Two persons were injured in firing today when two groups clashed at the district court complex here, police said.
Vikas(28) and Rohit(20) were injured when Gurjeet Bhaati, belonging to the rival group allegedly opened fire on them, the police said, adding that the two groups are fighting property cases against each other.
“Both are out of danger. Vikas has nearly 50 minor splinter injuries on his right side of the body while Rohit has a injury in his head,” said Dr Gurmail Singh who attended the duo at hospital.
“Statements of injured persons were being recorded, and a case against the accused shall be registered at Civil Lines Police Station,” Station House Officer, Jaspal Singh said.
