Model Candy Brar, who will enter ‘Bigg Boss-Saath 7’ Saturday, says that she will be more than happy if she finds that her ex-boyfriend Kushal Tandon has moved on with Gauhar Khan.
Brar, who is the ex-girlfriend of current captain of the house Kushal Tandon, said her main aim to enter the house is to present her real self after evicted contestant Vivek Mishra maligned her reputation during his stay on the show.
“Vivek Mishra had said a lot about me without knowing me personally. I am not a reality show buff but I am entering the show to present my real self,” Brar told PTI.
Brar also cleared that she is not entering the show to have a close tab on Kushal’s proximity with Gauhar Khan.
“I am happy for Kushal if he is really serious about Gauhar. She is a nice girl. Kushal and I are still friends and I am always the first one to know about his long list of girlfriends. He is not commitment phobic. He is just too career oriented,” said Brar, who was the winner of Gladrags 2004.
“I will be very happy if he has moved on. I will not deny that there was a time when we used to hang out all the time. But from the last couple of years we have just been friends, not best friends but friends,” Candy told IANS on the phone from Mumbai. Former contestant Viveik Mishra had mentioned Candy’s name over a heated argument with Kushal.
The model-turned-businesswoman was disturbed about how her name was mentioned on the show by “someone who she has never met”. “One man suddenly quoted my name and he is someone who I don’t remember meeting at all,” she said. The invitation to enter the ‘Bigg Boss’ house came as a surprise to Candy, who is currently looking after the business and marketing of entertainment company Showman entertainment. “I didn’t even know till last night if I will be going in or not. I came from the glamour world and the fascination of seeing myself on television is not there any more,” she said. Candy has no specific strategy and will go with the flow. “I have just watched two episodes of the show. I have decided to just go with the flow,” she said. Candy will be joining the other remaining contestants which include Sangram Singh, Elli Avram, VJ Andy, Kamya Punjabi, Armaan Kohli, Tanisha Mukherjee, Pratyusha Banerjee and Apoorva Agnihotri.
Short-tempered Ajaz
For short-tempered Ajaz, his stint in the show will have full of mind games. He also wants to teach Kushal a lesson.
“Since I am entering the show now, I have the benefit that I know what game a contestant is playing. So, I am also going to play a lot of mind games with them and want to Kushal badly. I don’t think it will harm my reputation because it’s all part of a game,” Ajaz said.
Ajaz, who did films like Rakta Charitra and Allah Ke Banday, was offered the show twice. He decided to be a part of this season because he considers seven as his lucky number.
Candy’s entry is sure to raise the mercury level. Kushal and Gauhar Khan’s romance in Bigg Boss 7 is at the peak and at this hot moment Candy Brar’s entry is sure to add some more flavor to the show.
Candy is a model and was often spotted at parties and social events. She dated Kushal sometime back but both called it a quit after a period. Yoga guru Vivek Mishra during his stay in the house revealed that Kushal’s aggressive nature was the reason of their break-up. He physically abused her. Vivek was quoted as saying, “Kushal is a violent person. Woh maarta peetta tha (he used to hit her).”
Vivek also revealed about eviction that Gauhar and Kushal is an item of the house and once they locked themselves inside the loo for fifteen minutes.
Model and actor Ajaz Khan and British singer and actress Sofia are the other two wild card entries.
“They will enter the house today (October 26) and will be seen in an episode sometime next week,” revealed a channel’s source.
Kushal has been nominated as the captain of the house and ladylove Gauhar Khan seems quite happy.
Another interesting twist in the house is that a caravan will be introduced and the contestants will have a full freedom to seat and spend some quality time inside it.
Well, we hope lovebirds Tanisha and Armaan will be most benefited with this new introduction as the couple will get to spend some cozy moments.
