Kozhikode, January 26: The office of the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) at Kottappally near Vatakara in the district was partially damaged when unidentified persons set afire clothes dumped in the building.
Police said unidentified miscreants set ablaze clothes dumped in the veranda of the building in the wee hours this morning.
The window and door of the party office were damaged in the fire, they added. The area had recently witnessed clashes between CPI(M) and IUML workers.
