Raging fire emanated from a chemical factory in Subashnagar in the Jeedimetla industrial area was put out by fire fighting squad after five hours on Sunday.
According to the information, the fire which erupted in the chemical factory in Subhashnagar at 9 am spread to the adjoining units causing panic among the people of the area. The cause of the fire was stated to be the result of collision of chemical drums. The entire area was enveloped in thick smoke making the local population frightened. However, the residents and workers heaved a sigh of relief with the Fire Service personnel extinguishing the fire after five hours. (NSS)
