Jammu, May 27: A massive fire broke out today in the forested area along the Line of Control (LoC) at Mendhar in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, but there were no casualties.
The fire first erupted on the Pakistani side and later engulfed the Sagra-Balnoi forest belt at Mendhar in Poonch, official sources said.
The blaze soon spread to over three-km area and was put out several hours later, they said.
There were no reports of any casualties.
