A State Bank of India (SBI) branch on the ground floor of the multi-storeyed Panchanand building here was almost completely gutted in a fire today evening, officials said.
T T Nagar City Superintendent of Police R D Bhardwaj told PTI that investigations are on to find out the reason behind the outbreak of the fire.
Bhopal Municipal Corporation’s (BMC) Fire Brigade In-charge Sajid Khan said that firefighters reached the spot after they received information about the blaze at around 6.05 pm.
Eight fire brigade vehicles were pressed into service to extinguish the fire, which was put off in 15 to 20 minutes, he said.
