Mumbai, May 16: A major fire today broke out at a residential building in suburban Ghatkopar, seriously injuring a woman, fire brigade officials said.
The fire broke out on the 15th floor of Presidency Tower, near-R City Mall at 4.50 pm.
The woman suffered critical burn injuries and has been admitted to Rajawadi hospital here.
Eight fire engines, two water tankers and an ambulance were rushed to the spot and efforts were on to control the flames, they said.
No casualties have been reported so far, the officials said, adding the cause of the fire was not immediately known.
