A major fire broke out at a rubber godown in Jeedimetla, around 5.15 pm on Wednesday evening, resulting in loss of property worth lakhs of rupees. Four fire tenders from Jeedimetla, Secunderabad, Kukatpally and Assembly were rushed to the spot and doused the flames after four hours of hard work.
Thick smoke billowed from the godown and it continued to erupt from the godown for about two hours.The cause and extent of the damage is yet to be ascertained, fire officials maintained
