New Delhi: A fire broke out this morning in a godown where old newspapers were kept in north-east Delhi’s Karawal Nagar area.
“We received a call today around 9.55 AM and the fire was doused by 4.30 PM. Nine fire tenders were rushed to the spot to control the fire that had engulfed the ground and the first floors of the godown,” said an official from Delhi Fire Services.
The cause of the fire is not known yet, said a senior police officer.
