Hyderabad: In the fire accident which took place at the Exhibition last month, many stalls were reduced to ashes. Although no casualty was reported, many owners of the stall incurred huge losses.
According to the report published in New Indian Express, after the accident, Mr. Khaja Aijazuddin, an advocate filed an IPL in Telangana High Court seeking CBCID or SIT probe.
During the hearing of the PIL, the bench questioned TS Govt’s rational behind granting permission to All India Industrial Exhibition Society to hold Numaish despite the fact that the fire safety measures were missing.
The bench also raised question over the government’s decision to allow the society to continue the exhibition even after the massive fire accident.
Special counsel S Sharat Kumar was asked to provide all details by Wednesday.
