At last police Shah Inayat Gung has registered an FIR against Abhinav Pahelwan for illegally occupying Masjid Dostullah Baig graveyard land at Begum Bazaar and later selling it to another pahelwan. On the direction of AP state Waqf board chairman Khusro Pasha the complaint had been lodged against Abhinav Pahelwan.
Surprisingly police initially kept dilly-dallying about registering the case against Abhinav Pahelwan who enjoys backing of a minister. But seeing the prevailing restiveness among local Muslims and Waqf board’s action against the illegal occupation, police thought there was no respite but to register the FIR. However Abhinav Bharat has not been arrested so far.
