Hyderabad, April 04: A financier was beaten to death by unidentified persons at Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station (MGBS) late on Saturday night.
The victim, D Kiran (21) of Shalibanda, watched the India-Sri Lanka World Cup final match at a pub at Nampally and late in the night went to the MGBS.
According to police, Kiran might have entered into an argument with some unidentified persons near the Platform No 6 of the bus station. The assailants hit Kiran on the head with an iron rod leading to his instantaneous death. Kiran’s body was found on Sunday morning.
Afzalgunj police registered a case and are investigating.
