Financial problems drive three persons to suicide

A 55-year-old man died of burn injuries which he suffered after setting himself ablaze.

According to Pahadishareef police, the deceased, Md Saber, a businessman, took the extreme step on August 26 at his residence in Shaheen Nagar. He was admitted to Osmania General Hospital where he died on Monday. Financial problems are suspected to have driven him to suicide.

In a similar case, B. Satyanarayana, 45, of Hammal Basti, succumbed to the burn injuries which he sustained on Sunday after setting himself ablaze. He died at the Gandhi Hospital on Monday, according to Chilkalguda police. He was a cook and was facing severe financial problems.

In another case, T. Venkaiah, 32, a driver of Harijan Basti of RK Puram, who had consumed poison on September 4 reportedly due to financial problems, died at the Gandhi Hospital on Sunday night, according to Bollaram police. (INN)
