Telangana State Urdu Academy has announced financial support to Urdu writers to help them publish their manuscripts. Interested persons should submit a copy of their manuscripts along with a photocopy of ID proof and a passport size photo by February 5 in the office of Urdu Academy at Hajj House 4th floor.
In a press note Director/Secretary Prof. S A Shukoor stated that the manuscript submitted will not be returned and the title mentioned in the application should be the same as in the manuscript. Change in the subject or in the title will not be entertained.
A sum of Rs. 10,000 would be given for books running into 110 pages and Rs. 12,000 for books with more pages.
