According to a press note issued by Prof. S.A.Shukoor, Secretary/Director, Urdu Academy, applications are invited from owners of small newspapers to provide financial assistance for the year 2014-15.
Releasing the details in this regard he asked the applicants to submit their applications along with their accreditation cards, RNI, bank account number with IFS code, self attested copy of pass book and copies of latest copies of their publications and 3 copies of advance receipt of Rs. 4000 on or before July 24, at Urdu Academy head office, IV floor, Hajj House Nampally.
Prof. Shukoor told that the amount will be deposited online into beneficiaries’ respective bank accounts. If a person is publishing more than one newspaper, Urdu Academy will extend financial assistance to only one newspaper.
