Union Law and Justice ministry has offered financial assistance to voluntary organisations engaged in promotion of different languages in the field of law as specified in the Eighth schedule of the Constitution.
As per a notification issued by Ram Dhan Meena, Joint Secretary and Legislative Council of Union Ministry of Law and Justice, voluntary organisations will get assistance for their contributions in promotion of different of languages for the year 2015-16.The financial assistance is made under a scheme of the official languages wing of the AP legislature Department to all eligible voluntary organisations .
The notification further said they should send their applications through concerned law department of the respective state or the district magistrate of the area of operation so as to prove the veracity of the bonafide address and bank account of the Voluntary organisation on or before 20th November.
It said the application form and the details of the scheme were available on the Ministry’s website – www.lawmin.nic.in/olwing. In this connection detailed advertisements have been published in leading newspapers inviting applications during the period from October 7th to 20th November, the notification said .
All the eligible voluntary organisations engaged in promotion of different languages in law department specified in the 8th Schedule of Indian constitutions are advised to take advantage of the scheme. (INN)
