Chandigarh, April 19: The Haryana Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation has proposed to provide assistance of Rs 69.35 crore to 15,000 SC families under various income-generating schemes during 2010-11.
The allotment includes Rs 14.98 crore as subsidy to the people of the category, a spokesman of the Corporation said today.
It had provided Rs 50.66 crore to 10,207 families upto February 2010 during the last financial year. Out of it, Rs 8.16 crore had been given as subsidy, he added.
The Corporation was implementing Bank Tie-up schemes (BTS), schemes in collaboration with National Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation (NSFDC) and those with National Safai Karamcharis Finance and Development Corporation (NSKFDC).
