Applications are invited for grant of Rs.10 lakhs as financial assistance to SC students who are desirous of pursuing higher studies in professional courses like Medicine/Engineering/Pharmacy/ Nursing/ pure Sciences/ Humanities/Social studies, etc. in Foreign Universities — USA, UK, Australia, Canada and Singapore.
Candidate should belong to SC community and should be native of State of Telangana. Total family income should not exceed Rs.two lakhs per annum. First class marks in Graduation is compulsory for pursuing PG studies abroad. 1st class marks in PG is compulsory for pursuing Ph.D studies abroad.
Interested students shall apply in http://telanganaepass.cgg.gov.in in prescribed format along with documents. Registration will be closed on December 17,2014. The candidates are requested to attend for selections in the office of SC Development Department, 3rd Floor, DSS Bhavan, Masab Tank, Hyderabad on December 22, 2014 at 10 AM with all relevant original documents.
The registered students shall be short-listed for grant of scholarship by a State Level Selection Committee headed by the Principal Secretary, SC Development Department.
