Job Description:
Summary/Objective
Supervise, control, interpret and communicate the fiscal operations of the company to provide information and guidance to the Senior Management, business administrator and finance commitee.
Essential Functions:
Evaluate, develop and recommend fiscal policy that will result in sound fiscal management.
Analyze, interpret & communicate financial operating results to provide information and guidance to company officials and departments, and provide technical support to company departments.
Maintain all official accounting records in conformance with generally accepted government accounting principles.
Act in a lead role in debt management and bond issuance to ensure the most efficient use of the company’s bond capacity and borrowed monies.
Supervise & maintain the company’s payroll operations to ensure the efficient handling of employees’ pay, deductions and benefit payments.
Oversee the operation of the department finance/payroll data processing system and analyze and recommend data processing alternatives.
Participate with the company’s business administrator / departmental head in the preparation of the annual budget.
Supervise and train assigned personnel to ensure development of their full work potential.
Coordinate the annual audit and prepare the company’s Comprehensive Annual Financial Report.

Skills:
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required or 5 to 10 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Any higher education qualification or certification will be an added advantage.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full time position. Days and hours of work are Sunday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
