Mumbai, December 29: Filmmaker Shabnam Kapoor today lodged an FIR against eight persons, including six women, working for a builder’s firm alleging she was assaulted by them following dispute over a land in suburban Andheri, police said.
The supervisor and contractor of RNA builders were arrested after the FIR was registered by Kapoor, Assistant Police Commissioner Dilip Suryavanshi said.
Kapoor, a resident of MHADA colony in Versova area, was manhandled by the accused belonging to the firm RNA builders, they said.
Kapoor, who has produced several films including the Ajay Devgn-Kajol starrer ‘Hulchul’ and directed the forthcoming Akshay Kumar release ‘Helloo India’, charged he builder had been trying to grab the prime plot, where she has been residing for decades, without the consent of her and other residents.
“The builder has no required permission to develop the plot.
