Mumbai: Efforts are on across the country to lodge FIRs against Chairman UP Shia Waqf Board Wasim Rizvi. It has been demanded to put a ban on his upcoming hate film Ram Janmabhoomi in which Ameer-e-Mawiya (RAA) companion of the Prophet (PBUH) has been disrespected, besides attempting to create conflict between Hindus and Muslims on issues such as Halala and Babri Masjid.
As soon as the trailer of the film was uploaded on YouTube in Mumbai, noted religious and welfare organisation Raza Academy staged a massive protest against Wasim Rizvi.
On Tuesday chief of Raza Academy, Mohammed Sayeed Noori accompanied by a delegation lodged an FIR at JJ Marg police station. Senior police inspector Gaikwad registered a complaint under section 295.
