Mohali (Punjab), September 12: Two film producers from Mumbai along with two policemen allegedly duped and extorted an elderly NRI here, a senior police officer said here today.
Both the filmmakers — Deepak Kumar and Himanshu, aged around 30 -? have been arrested, while the policemen allegedly involved in the crime are on the run, DSP (city-II) Swarandeep Singh said.
Sexagenarian NRI Darshan Kumar alleged in his police complaint that last month he struck a deal and had paid the earnest money for a property in sector 46, Chandigarh. Both the filmmakers came to his house in Jal Vayu Vihar here and asked him to sell off the property to them
